In 1998 The Best Spots was established as an experimental endeavor on a way to make the Founder's second home useful instead of letting it sit lonely and unused. He decided to open up his doors to families such as his own looking for a different way to vacation other than the usual overly crowded quarters of a hotel room. Quickly he learned that there was a big piece of the rental business that was being overlooked due to the industry being driven purely by competition. The guest's needs and wants were almost always overshadowed by a dollar sign. Coming from a background of running convalescent homes, the Founder's first interest was always in building lasting relationships with the people he came into contact with. Using this as a tool, he created The Best Spots and over the last 10 years has been able to purchase over 10 luxury rentals that he now rents out all year long.
To this day, the staff at The Best Spots continues to pride themselves on always putting the guest first. We have grown to understand and define what customer service means to us - going above and beyond the normal rental procedures to ensure that our guests have a relaxing and unforgettable experience by providing them with a home away from home in the BEST SPOTS possible.
KATRINA FISCHER - Manager
Katrina Fischer is the manager of The Best Spots and has been running the division for the past 3 years. Katrina always makes the extra effort to ensure that all of our guests are taken care of the minute they decide to reserve a stay with us and long after their departure since we love to welcome back past guests as our new friends. She is always available via email or telephone if you need any assistance or have any questions.
GONZALO & NELSY DAZA - Santiago Canyon Estate
Gonzalo & Nelsy are our onsite maintenance team for our Santiago Canyon Estate in Orange, CA. After caring for this property and our guest's for the past 2 years, they have become part of our family. They go above and beyond their normal duties to ensure this large estate is always in pristine shape and that our guests feel like royalty.
TAMARA FARR - South Lake Tahoe Lakefront Cabin
Tamara is in her 3rd year as concierge of our South Lake Tahoe Lakefront Cabin. She has been able to add her own special touches to the property and all of our guest's would agree that she has made it an unforgettable experience. The amazing location and the outstanding service Tamara provides keeps our guests coming back every year for a visit.
RIC GOMEZ - Bing Crosby Estate
Ric came highly recommended to us by the best in the industry and he has surpassed our expectations. He not only cares about our home, he also cares about every single guest that steps foot in it. Ric has managed his own hotel and other high end properties for some time now so he understands how to operate on a level of excellence that all of our guests deserve and expect.
RUTH CHASE - Collins Island Bay front Estate
Ruth is a Southern California native who lives on Balboa Peninsula and is very familiar with Newport Beach and the surrounding areas. Her welcoming smile and willingness to help guests even before they arrive makes a tremendous difference and makes vacationing easy, just the way it should be. All guests are welcomed by beautiful fresh flower arrangements that Ruth makes herself and as with all of our concierges, Ruth has truly made this home spectacular with her 5-star service.

Rob is the newest addition to The Best Spots family. His extensive work in Real Estate and knowledge of the local hotspots on the Island make him a perfect fit. His "Aloha Spirit" sets the perfect mood for all of our guests as soon as the step foot in our doors and his attention to detail ensure guest's get to experience the best Hawaii has to offer!
STEVEN TEAGUE - Hawaii Properties
Steven has been with the company one our maintenance team for many years and has worked on almost every one of the homes we have. He is now settled in Hawaii tending to all the maintenance and upkeep of these homes. Stevens knowledge makes him the perfect person for our guests to call on if there is anything that is ever not working properly during their stay and he will get it back up and running in no time. However Steven's attention to detail ensures that most people don't ever need to contact him since he takes such great care of everything.
